Stage 10b

Itinerary Emilia Ovest – Carpi-Campogalliano

Following the narrow roads that cross the fertile and industrious Emilian countryside, we arrive in a few kilometers in Campogalliano, where there is the original Museum of Scales and Measuring Instruments that tells over two thousand years of the history of measurement through many instruments for weighing and measuring.

The town has developed economically also thanks to this production tradition that dates back to over a century and a half ago and which continues to characterize the area with the presence of leading international companies in the sector. In Campogalliano there are also the Curiel lakes, a true naturalistic oasis in the plain between Modena and Reggio, where you can practice sports and recreational activities, in a very pleasant environment

Remarkable is the network of majesties (pillars, aedicules or devotional columns) that winds through the area and the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine della Sassola which houses a large collection of votive offerings.
